ED777 took off from East Kirkby at 1630 hrs on 2nd December 1943, on an operation to Berlin. The aircraft came down at Gross Shulzendorf, 7 km SE of Ludwisfelde. All were buried at Gross Schulzendorf, though the graves were subsequently relocated to Berlin 1939-1945 War Cemetry. Their average age was 22 years.
